Tanks Skeet, and "G". I was looking at that myself. On this trailer the riser on the bow is adjustable , in other words I can loosen it and slid it more toward the tongue of the trailer. and if I can't get enough before it bumps into the mount for the height crank, I can switch the opposite and put the crank in the gap.Name: 20200408_090622 (1).jpg

Another thing I need to ask too. Do I need to lower the motor a little bit. It looks like the fin is about an inch too high...Name: 20200509_200307.jpg

I think your motor will probably be alright just a inch high.....i would try it and see before I moved it. As long as it doesn't cavitate you will be fine.

It has Rained ALL night long and is supposed to rain All day today and tonight with thunderstorms tonight and early am tomorrow, so not going to do much till it stops. Weather forecast don't look good either. Looks like best chance to do anything is going to be Mon. And Tues. as it's only 20% chance of rain. Next day with no rain is Tues. Next week...UUUURRRRRGH!!!!!. Oh well I can knock out some of my Honey does in the house = more fun time later....Strike the more fun time later. With momma just driving all day, and thinking...I'm sure there's a few thousand things she's added I don't know about...

Yep, that's for sure "G". My Problem has always been Patience, don't have much, never have. Mom and dad used to say I had ants in my pants, couldn't sit still...

Assuming you don't have the equipment to weld aluminum, call the local prop shop and ask how much they'd charge to weld the deck into place. It takes special equipment to weld aluminum (or so I'm told).

I believe the height will be fine. I had an 18 that was older than yours and I ran it one hole above level and it would scream. Two holes and it would get air in rough water or wake and I’d have to back out til it got another bite and go again. If I ran it level the nose plowed more than I liked. In the sweet spot that boat would outrun most of the 40’s on tri hulls and such and some of the 50’s. Almost took two hands to pull start it. A true beast.

I can attest to the pull start part...my back problem and the engine compression=electric start...
