Well said. Everyone needs to take this epidemic seriously!
This is off topic and not about about crappie fishing but hopefully it will touch everyone’s heart.
My friend lost the battle with Covid-19 today.
He was a retired fireman and a barber on the side.
He loved to fish, loved people, spending his whole life serving others.
I’m not asking for sympathy, condolences, or prayers.
Only asking all crappie.com members to take this pandemic very seriously and cherish every day as if it is your last.
Bless all of you!!

I fear we are going to see this more and more over the next few weeks. I sincerely hope all members take this threat seriously so they will still be here with us to enjoy this forum.

Any day I'm fishing is a good day, regardless of what I catch.

My wife and I have been on a self imposed lock down for about 16 days now. Have a grandson who thought he could not get it but today started to show some symptoms. Am praying that it is not coved 19.
It looks like we will miss the spring fishing but we should be safe. Not sure how long after the all clear is given that we will venture out. We are doing a lot of yard work that probably would never have been done. After the yard work the next thing is painting the inside of the house. It needs it since its been 18 years since we bought it and have not repainted.
Everyone stay safe so we can enjoy the crappie after this is over.

Hope your grandson just has a cold or the regular flu.
Yeah, crappie can be caught all year long.
Same here with yard work. I’ve mowed 3 times already.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Also sorry the thread was highjacked off it’s original intention.
