The Crappie have really been hitting this little 2" paddle tail prerigged jig in recent days.

I know for a fact that speckled trout will eat it also.

They have pretty good quality VMC hooks too. The crappie knocked the eyes out of one of them, but otherwise they are durable.

I have used those before spider rigging.....they work....put Slab Sauce on them.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

I use those all the time when fishing the river for hybrid striped bass and the like, but never thought to keep one in the crappie box. Makes sense they would hit it since it’s shad pattern. Thanks for the idea.

Now there's a new one on me! I've used those for bass and striper fishing, but never on crappie. Will have to try to find some. Thanks!
