    Default 14' Vertical Jigging Rod

I am looking for a lightweight 14' rod to vertical jig with.
I am currently using an 11' ACC Crappie Stix and love it but am wanting something with the same backbone, similar weight but added reach.
Does anyone have any suggestions or am I looking for a Unicorn?

    Thanks in advance

BnM has 14' BGJPs. I use BnM 11' BGJPs and 11' SHSS. Don't know how the weight of the 14' BGJP would compare to the ACC.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I do have a retirement plan...FISHING!

I have 12' BGJP's and they just dont have the backbone the ACC has (heavier as well).
    Thanks for the reply!

Jenko says these 14ft rods will boat flip a 1.5 pound crappie. I bought 2 last spring. Seemed to be a good sturdy rod. Name: Screenshot_20200316-141625.jpg

I have a 12ft ACC stik with rear reel seat and a cork handle. I also have a 14 ft two piece Lews speed stik.I think the backbone is similar between the two I just weighed the two and the ACC stik was 6.8 oz and the Lews was 7.5 oz.Generally I think the longer rods are going to be heavier.Having said that I have two of the Lews 14 footers and fish with them regularly.

I'm using Pro Angler Tackle 14' & 16' rod. Heavy backbone and proving to be a nice rod to Live Scope with...easily boat flip 2lb fish. Recently I used a 14' ACC Crappie Stix rigging rod. This rod was lighter weight (physically) but was a little light on backbone. We really struggle lifting fish over 1.5lbs.

Nobody really makes a 14' designed for vertical fishing. Jenko, B'n'M, and Huckabee all make 13' for Livescope or vertical fishing with a lot of backbone.

I have called numerous places and pretty much being told the same thing, 13' is the maximum length anyone is currently making for LiveScope. I am gonna start looking for rod blanks and have one built.
