The wife and I used the regular today and conducted a little test. We were casting curly tail grubs under a cork. I put Slab Sauce on her grub but not on mine. She out caught me 2 to 1 for a little while. I finally started using it and it was on shortly after that. We finished the day with 60. Probably caught 80 or so. Good stuff.

Both work well. Personally I choose regular.

Most of the time the fish I catch seem to prefer the regular but sometimes they prefer the garlic. I try my best to keep them happy by keeping both in my cup holder so I can please them either way. If I had to choose just one though it would be the original.

I like the garlic myself , but have had equal results for the most part with both varieties .
not sure why some fish really like it more than others but to be sure
the regular often gets me a BIG bass bite right after I apply it to the jig
and in the end its still kinda fun to hang a big ole tail walking ,acrobatic ,in your face jumping and pulling like a fool kinda fish once in while
