Default Fast Loop-to-Loop connection for leaders

This is used in fly fishing, but works just as well for braid and mono/fluoro.The beauty of this is, you can tie up a bunch ahead of time, and slip one on in 5 seconds without having to go through the trouble of re-tying another tedious leader knot.

Been doing it that way for years when i need a leader. I use two loop knots.
I would agree with you, but then we would both be WRONG !!!!

I used loop to loop a lot when I was heavy into fly fishing. Tie two perfection loops and build your leader. Carpal slowed down fly fishing, but I hope to start again.

I tie one loop (surgeon's loop) on my braid, and one loop on my mono leader...is that what you mean ?

PS: this will only really work well with short leaders 18 inches or less, and 8lb or less leaders, because the loop will be too big to come through the line guides.
