Got the DIY angle bracket implemented just fine, eg.. the 90 degree piece of PVC. Of course this in temp only, as to use it the old way it'll have to be mounted back to "vertical" again.

Honestly, I'm not impressed. Pictured above is my sea wall, and of course that's easily seen, but anything else is hard to make out. I suppose if it wasn't so windy out as it was, and the boat was still, I'd be able to see moving fish better. But right now, my opinion is, eh.. I love it in the vertical view, and this horizontal view is a great idea, but like I said, as of right now I'm not impressed. Time will tell.
Your transducer is turned upside down according to this sketch.

I’ll flip the transducer around for the next test and see how it works then. Tanks all

Active Captain worked well for me. Only thing NOT intuitive is after connecting the AC on the Garmin to the AC on your iPhone once you download the file you have to disconnect from the Garmin WiFi to have it load then reconnect to have it transfer. Got the new update for the 8610 loaded and the GLS 10 Black box updated too. Now to fabricate a mount.

If the LS transducer beam width in really 20 degerees the transducer will need to anegled down 10-15 degrees to make sure you are looking at the bottom with the entire field of view. If my math is correct once the transducer is scanning the bottom with its entire field of view it will change ~4foot for every one foot of depth change.

Ordered the garmin bracket but started working on a temporary bracket to experiment with until Garmin bracket comes in.
I like it as it is also after many days learning to use it and figuring out how to catch fish with it. I get excited every time on the water looking for gaint slab crappie we all hope to run into on the water.

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

The pics are not great, but I changed my mind about the perspective view. I actually think it's phenomonal. It's live action, no need for a 360 at all. Looks out front of the boat. Can avoid weed beds, or just stay off them. Can see fish moving around in front of you. Can see them on their beds. Unreal.

When I used it yesterday, I was in a place that there just plain was not a lot to see. Now that I've used it out on some better waters, and actually seeing stuff on it, I thinks it's a game changer (yes, another game changer feature with the livescope). Can't wait to get on some fish. Way windy today too, only caught one, but really could not fish. Could not keep bait down where I think it needed to be.
