Like I said, no issues for me catching crappie up to 2.75lbs or so. Uni to Uni and palomar to the jig. Its not hard to see the telltale curly cue when line fails in the knot, have seen it several times with mono and big river catfish. But never with a uni knot or palomar knot and fluorocarbon crappie fishing. With the caveat that all I use is Seagar red label.
