Biggest shad I've seen

Was out fishing yesterday after work because it's been unusually nice. I was throwing an underspin swimbait jig head with a bluegill color swimbait trailer. I'm at a pond I've caught crappie at, but was targeting bass. I'm reeling in and feel a thunk but it was weird so I set the hook anyways and started to reel it in. I knew it wasnt a bass, alllmmmoosstt felt like a crappie, but I got it to the bank and saw I snagged the biggest shad I've ever seen in person. I didnt know someone had put shad in this pond and I couldn't believe the size of this thing!! Pic doesnt do it justice because it was squirming and moving constantly so couldn't get a great photo, but it's as big as a half pound bluegill but skinny. But mind you, that's a 4" swimbait and the shad dwarfs it!!
