I Have b/m 12 ft. Sam Heaton , but the Bucks best ultra-lite rear seat sure feels good . I broke one rod , A b/m custom while poking it free . I never boat flip a crappie unless it is very small . The b/m line is for feeling / sensitivity not flipping .I love them . JMO.

Just a update on what I learned and ordered from Grizzly jig. I ended up ordering a Jenco Hypersence 11' rear seat, it weighted in at 4.4oz and seeing the Ozarks were on sale I had to order a 9' rear seat too, obtw the 11' Ozarks won the skinny pole award out of the four brands I looked at- Acc crappie stix 11', Jenco 11' and BnM 11' the Ozark weighted in at a meazely 4.1oz. I paired both poles with Mr.Crappie brand Solo fly type reels, I will load them up with 6#Vicious Hi Vis and hopefully hit the lake next week. Thanks guys.

I still have two Grizzly Elite 91/2 footers that I've caught a lot of fish on. Gotta finesse the bigger fish out of heavy cover.

I have a couple of Ozark 10 footers that are pretty light. Don't think I have seen any measurably lighter.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes bang when it is supposed to go click and one that goes click when it is supposed to go bang.

I use numerous 9 to 12 foot rods ,some are rear reel seats . K9 5 lb. braid and Eagle Claw straight line reels , balance with a crutch tip and washers. Works for me.

I have several 10' rear seat ozarks they are my all time favorite. I have a acc and a denali to all 10' rear seat. I fish with all of them but the ozarks are by far my favorite. I put bucks mini bait casters on all mine. If you have never jig fished with braid give it a shot. The sensitivity is unmatched. It can get a little agrivating at times when the line wrap the rod tip but its worth it to me.

Yes, I'm excited about about both rod's. I was thinking about trying some light braid, I use braid to fluoro or mono all my big fish outfits, just not sure I want to hassle with re-tieing new leaders every snag.
