    Default Momma ain't Happy

As ya'll have seen in the near past I have been having pretty good luck fishing lately. Between weather and illness SlabQueen hasn't been able to go. I got up this morning to this message. Name: 5233.jpeg

Sorry to hear that. I hope Slabqueen feels better soon. We've had several inches of rain over the last couple of days and woke up this morning to snow and 30 degrees in tn.. It could always be worse. Hoping for a quick recovery and better weather.

not ketchn fish will make a person not happy if they like to ketch fish .
I suggest a bent rod and a flopping crappie as soon as possible and repeat it often .
hope she feels better and gets out soon

I feel for SlabQueen as Linda has been through the same. 14 months with a broken arm and 3 surgeries turned us from 3 time a week fishing trips to 5 for me for the whole year. Her arm is now better but needs some time on her pole to strengthen her arm. Spring time should be just right for that.

As much as she likes to fish, I can see where it would work on her attitude. Hope she’s back at it soon, and a fish dinner or two might help.

It's great to have a wife who loves fishing. Keep taking her as long as she wants to go, regardless of health. My wife was still fishing from a wheelchair where she could use her hands to set the hook but did not have the strength to reel them in.

She spent the night in the hospital getting IV antibiotics and she's home now, so hopefully on the road to recovery and back to putting a whooping on me while fishing. It's bad when you teach someone something new and they turn around and show you up most of the time after that. I wouldn't have it any other way.
