On green water I'd for sure want to be dropping a jig with green in it low contrast and high contrast.... Also that grey jig I use don't appeal to the human eye but it works well a lot of times regardless of conditions.... Straight chart, yellow in combination with other colors.... Sometimes I go through 10 to 15 color combos and sizes, speaking of size I recommend small to find and figure the fish out then once found you can increase size and get dialed in on color..... Give each color a honest go and change regularly until you find what they prefer.....
Same goes with dirty brown water, that Joe Dirt (brown jig) hand tie from Pepop would be my start but will not beat it dead if the fish don't hit it.....
Learn to tie fast.....LOL
