I never get wet in my kayak. At most occasional splash from fish or paddle etc. nothing major. I do wear big waterproof boots as I do have to step into water and kayak. Now with pedal drive kayak I can step into and out of the kayak from the dock. Hope I didn’t just jinx myself.....lol.

I only been with him once before and he has them there ridiculous expensive pedal drive units .
we went in the summer that time a few years back and that's my only kayak trip ever and it was on a spot I never been to .
the good news is we found some slabs there and I talked him into that trip as he never been there before either .
he is a full time year round kayak guide service and fishes multiple species .
    winter is mostly crappie .
