    Default Cordless Bubba Blade

I bought into the hype and purchased a Bubba Blade cordless knife and just finished cleaning my first mess of crappie with it and a couple of cats. First thing I noticed is the blades clogged up before I got the first fish cleaned and then it was more of tearing the meat instead of slicing it. It also made it almost impossible to stay along the backbone. Anyone else out there have any experience with these? Im thinking about seeing if different blades will fit? What your thoughts?

We have the corded one, we use the rapala blades
Take the plastic guard off the blades and fit fine, dont know why itd be different for the cordless,
    Love the grip and trigger
For an electric knife, read somewhere they came out with their own smoother blade but didnt see it on their web site

Just purchased one a couple weeks ago and I am very proud of it ! It took a few fish to realize how sharp it was and I cut through a couple spines but it done fantastic! I used the 7” little blade and it mowed through 13 slab crappies swiftly straight out of the box!

I’d contact them ! See what they say ! The set I tried was extremely sharp! I assume they all should be that way!

I think they do have some blade issues but not all of them. I got the cordless back in October and so far couldnt be happier... that being said Ive seen where lots of people have had some issues. The aggressive blade design is definitely a little overkill in my opinion. Hopefully they will come out with a different blade thats not so angry.

You will love it with Mr Twister blades inserted in it. They need on altercation. I had rather use a chainsaw than the blades that come with it.

Just an idea and hopefully I can give description that makes sense. Take blades out and put them together like they would be in knife. See if you have a gap between blades. If you do try this. Take one blade, place tip on cutting board then holding opposite end in left hand hold it up about 6 inches, then using heel of right hand press down in the middle of the blade with heel of hand trying to bend blade slightly. Just take your time and usually can get them back together. Had to do this with a set of American angler blades.
