Default Ended the year with a few acts of kindness

Had a houseful of furniture to move outa lake house. No intention of building again so when we signed a contract and new we were stuck with furniture I started listening at church

our music minister is a new add with wife and small kids. I took him two new beds and a 65 tv with sound bar. After hearing his mattresses were donated and full of holes maybe thirty years old when I saw them. He had a small tube tv in living room. Needless to say it made his Christmas.

Ive got a 16 yo kid at church rebuilding a trailer to live in when he graduates. He received most of my other beds and a tv.

I could have sold this stuff pennies on the dollar. But the smile and gratitude they showed far outwayed any monetary value.

Not it in the contest. Just wanted to share a feel good moment.

Always feel good to help others out, even if it's something small...Like the wife's company hauls a lot of Hershey's. When a pallet is damaged, primarily by forklifts, it is refused, so then the driver ends up distributing it amoungst the other drivers. Sometimes, not too often, I get a couple cases of chocolate candy. Usually the party bag size. Well there is a couple kids next door now ages three, 4, and six who get a bag each, of coarse so does mom and dad, and a few other neighbors. I couldn't eat 1/10th of what comes home sometimes....

Lee you have a great heart and a kind spirit. It is wonderful to see people like you who are blessed and are willing to share with others who are not so fortunate. We see so many bad things on a daily basis now that it is refreshing to see something like this to restore our faith in mankind. Be blessed my friend.
