    Default Wind on Rayburn

I went to Sam Rayburn Thursday to try out some brush piles that my brother and I sank a month or so ago, and the wind was so high I could not keep the trolling motor in the water. I fought it for a while, but then gave up and went looking for calmer water.
Fished back up some creeks and found some little gills but no crappie.
Will try again next week. No pictures as there was nothing to take a picture of.

Great effort regardless. It can only get better!

I don't like fighting wind. Hope you better luck next time. I will be looking forward to your fishing reports and pictures in the near future for sure.
Be safe and good luck fishing

Thanks for the replies. Plan on going tomorrow, though I may not get to Rayburn tomorrow, may go to my home lake.
