Anyone know about these rods?
I found their meager description.
Talks about reel seat and guides.
Weight?
Tip size?
Sensitivity?
Would like to know more
Thanks

Sounds interesting
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Is this the same rod as the Micro elite series.
That is not the same as the micro lite. RT3 is BassPros term for a level of graphite in the blank. There is no industry standard for this so you’re not quite sure just how much graphite the blank has in it. But sine the RT3 is used in their Pro Qualifier rods it should be a decent blank. They have rods that are made with RT1 so we can assume an RT3 blank is a bit better. It is like IM 7 is better than IM 6 yet once again there is no industry standard for that either. The Fuji TVS reel seat is a good one. The FazLite Fuji guides are decent....a step below Alconite....not the cheapest guides but not a high end guide. The weight of the rod...and this is a guess.....is probably 3-3.5 ounces. I would say it is probably worth the price charged.

Brett, just for comparison,
I have a couple of these. They are nice rods. They have a similar model with foam grip that's a bit cheaper but I like the Elite.

Thanks everyone.
The sole purpose of the rod I'm looking for is to see the lightest of bites while vertical jigging brush.
I'm comparing it to a St. Croix Panfish model. May not be a fair comparison but thats what I hope to find out.
St. Croix is $109. and i don't like the clunky reel seat. I emailed them to get it left off but they won't do that. No special orders even if it have them money.
Thanks

For about that price, you could get a low-end JDM rod.

I was in Bass Pro a couple of weeks ago to pick up some line and strolled by the spinning rod
rack on the way out. I saw the "Panfish Elite" series of rods and vaguely remembered this thread.
The more I handled and looked at this rod the better I thought of it so the 6 foot UL version walked
home with me. I fished with it a couple of times last week with it on some 9 to 10 inch
bedding bluegills. I really like this rod. I have a couple of 6 foot Fine Tail FAX UL rods and love
them. But for $80 this Bass Pro rod is a gem if you ask me. Very good sensitivity, excellent
caster, great play on the fish. I like the reel seat and the lay of the rod in my hand where
I can easily get my forefinger on the rod blank. It was a lot of fun using it to catch these
big bluegill. I also think it will make a great rod for white bass in the river.
A couple of points that Randy did not have above ---
rating 1/32 - 3/16
line 2 - 6 lb
fast action
Weight 3.6 ounces
Tip diameter 0.063"
8 guides (includes tip top)
