    Default Plastics mold question?

I make my own plastics to bass fish with & thought about buying a crappie lure mold. What would be the most popular size & style used that would pretty much work any time of the year? Thanks.

    That's a toss-up, Les.

The stinger shad shape is likely the most popular, but the carrot shape plastics are just as effective. IMHO

I’ve used both and think I prefer the Shad stinger over the carrot. 2” is probably the most common size.

Dave, thanks. I think i like the shad style better, but didn't know if it needed to be smaller than 2 inch. I appreciate the help guys.

Yeah, I'd stick with the 2" size for Stinger Shad plastics.
