every compartment has a zipper ! Oh and by the way it’s full too ! I’ve always said I was going to quit buying new/different stuff and have came down to the conclusion that once 80% of my stuff is gone I’m not going to replace it! But I’m vested now and ant giving it away !! Lol.

This is exactly the direction I’m heading in. Ziplocks for Baits and maybe one very small Plano of jigs in my vest. Minimalist and light while wading. If I ever get my kayak going again then a small tackle bag in the middle well. I can’t believe how much stuff I use to carry and never used!

I always have pill bottles I take for jigs when I am going exploring and packing light.

    Suggestions:
Zip Lock bags store soft plastics - each depending on type and size.
Jig heads from 1/64-1/8 oz can be stored in flat boxes and foam insulation with slits cut to hold the hooks. I figure only 6 of each hook size is needed per trip. Hook size per weight is labeled on the lid.

All larger necessities such as pliers, floats, scale, camera, line, sun block, rag, fish counter, bandaids, jaw spreaders etc. are kept in a zippered flat bag (green bag on the left in the storage box:

(minus the 7 lb catfish of course....)
