There was a company making several different baits around 1917 - mid 20's. One of the baits they made was very unusual because it revolved. Can you name this bait and the company ?
I will give some hints later today and the answer tonight.

My question is "who here was around back then to see or use these baits"? I know it was well before my time. My only connection to all those old baits was my father in law who was an avid bass fisherman when bass fishing wasn't cool. He also read Field and Stream, repainted his old plugs, and even tied popping bugs and fished them for bass. That's way back when they were called "green trout" down here.
My guess is a bait with the initials of B-E B by a company which went by the same name.

Gene....I inherited a lot of the old baits from my father and my uncle.....when I was a kid I fished with them and caught fish....even used them after I grew up....then I found out what they were worth and I put them up and started collecting vintage baits...reels... and other fishing items.

Same here. Lures, reels, steel rods. I have a reel that Roger Gant offered to buy but I kept it.
