Here's my Halloween crappie with whiskers from a local fishing dock. Hit my jig and ended up being dinner. Only fish caught.Name: 20191031_184759.jpg

Thanks, I am embarrassed because he is still trying to figure out this whole crappie thing and finally got to go with me and only caught a few as were the last few trips have been either limits or real close. Well at least now he knows how not to fish for them...lol

Those are some really nice fish. Thick, too. You know that if you had caught a boat load and the next time out for him he only caught a few, he would probably be very disappointed. You done good.

The sharing of a good time, should be the first objective. Catching of fish, just a plus to the experience.

I agree, we had a night of good conversation and he did say that he picked up some new information from me. So yes it was a successful night. I guess I just put too much pressure on myself when taking a guest. I try to get them into the action that I usually get into.

I think we all want to show each other a good trip and when it doesn’t go as planned the frustration sets in. That one is plenty large enough. Seems like that’s all I get lately.
