    Congrats!
I was seriously considering attending this years Classic. I had the campground picked out and scoped out a few areas of the lake and coves I wanted to fish. Couldn't find a partner willing to take a week off work for the trip. Seriously looking at the 2020 season. They are having two tournaments in Illinois, one on my home lake. Ill be putting the details together this weekend to see if I can make it work. Maybe we will see you there next year...

What kind of lodging did you do, camping, hotel/motel, cabin, or something else? Each comes with logistical challenges. Curious to hear how you dealt with the logistics of the trip.

We fished old hickory in the spring and made a little vacation out of it. So we were familiar with a few of the creeks. First couple days we figured out what depths to target for dock/pontoon shooting. Had 3-4 areas that were producing good quality fish. Not big numbers but the size. Day two just killed us with the front that came in and we needed a better backup plan. Only needed 8 pounds on day two and we easily did that all week so thought we were good. We don’t have the fancy electronics yet. Live scope helped the guys with the tough bite at knowing they had fish in there spot and if active.
We stayed in a tiny house that we stayed in the spring also. Not big but had all the amenities we needed. All we did was slept there and ate anyways. Basically fished all day everyday. It was a really good time and do it if you can. Met a lot of great people there also. Crappie anglers are very nice People. And crappie USA runs a nice tourney trail.
