Nice mess of fish. Bridge fishing? I went last Saturday in the rain and tied up under the Browns creek bridge. Fished it for an hour or so and didn't get a bite. There weren't many fish on it when I scanned it but I wasn't going to fish in the rain without the cover of the bridge. I started trolling from piling to piling looking for more fish and noticed there weren't many baitfish showing and they all looked scattered. I got out my cast net and threw it several times and didn't catch a single bait. What looked like scattered baitfish ended up being eel grass floating around. There were NO baitfish on that bridge. I ended up going out to the river channel to check a drop off and that's where all the baitfish were. Acres of them. I don't remember ever seeing a bridge on Guntersville this time of year that wasn't loaded with bait. I know they'll move in any minute now and may have this week but I thought that was odd.

Definitely sounds odd. Seen them so thick under the boat it looked like you could stand up on them

Spent a lot of nights under the bridges around Goose Pond with two pump up Coleman Lanterns hanging from the bridge over the water. That usually brings the shad in. Something about the color of light those lanterns put off them fish like
