I'm pretty familiar with Loomis, but I had to Google that one. They seem a little heavy for crappie. What's the action/line ratings for that model?
I broke my favorite spinning rod for Crappie and am trying to find another. Loomis stopped production of this rod a few years back.

I stand corrected -- not as heavy as I thought:
G-Loomis BSR801 Mossyback Bass Jig & Worm Rod
How about an E6X?

Or a St. Croix Avid?

Call GLommis and ask about the Expedite service, I broke one this spring for $100 they replaced it with a comparable model since it was no longer made. I talked to them on a Tuesday and it was at my house on Thursday. I did have to send them the broken rod.
there are a very high number of really good crappie rods available for less money , you might consider another brand as well as a replacement . I know of at least a dozen manufacturers making great rods at under a 100 ,just saying .

I throw mostly 1/16th oz tubes and finding a rod that is 6'9"ish that is rated for less than 1/8oz is hard to find that is not a buggy whip. I fish swamps I duck hunt in and need a rod with great feel and some back bone. In a normal day I may in addition to panfish Gar, Grinnel, Carp, and Buffalo over 5lbs may be caught.
