Planning on going fishing this Monday, tropical storm Nestor coming thru. later today not raining yet, but supposed to get 1.5-3 in. of rain .its supposed to stop Sunday around 1-2 o'clock pm. I have been catching crappie in small coves off main channel in 10-13 feet , fish setting at about 8 feet down. Was tight-lining. Was going to try slip bobber for first time. Now before this storm , shad were in coves that crappie were hitting. This is Jordan reservoir in N.C. do y'all think that much rain fall will push shad out of coves or push them more to mouth of cove into say 18-20 feet , main channel is around 28-42 feet deep coming in coves.
Any advice would be appreciated.
