If I could only bring one jig along, I'd have to go with chartreuse.

You can choose any color body you like. I am going to color some jig heads and I would like to know which color I should use first.

    Thanx for the help

Same here ,as I use large tube baits and the lead is inside. The Umbrella tubes by Southern Pro will hold a 1/8 th oz round or tapered leadhead.

That should read no I'm not kidding
Ok I'm the only one on this board who's fav colour is blue.
I use a blue jig when fishing with a minnow
On a day with no wind and I can go to the real small stuff I use unpainted with and at a blue tube with a white tail.
Its not just my favorite colour ... the fish really seem to like it also
We are still in ice ........hopefully next week I can push my way through the ice

A quick question, is unpainted such a difference maker? I paint and tie my own jigs and never really thought about not painting the heads and just tying. I always paint my steelie jigs also, and never tip them with bait but the crappie and gills I tip if the fish are finiky. Thanks for the info all
