ahhhhh.... I use unpainted heads most all of the time and catch plenty, so My answer would be no color.

Same here ,as I use large tube baits and the lead is inside. The Umbrella tubes by Southern Pro will hold a 1/8 th oz round or tapered leadhead.

I like the chartruese color also. And I also like them with a couple colors in them. Main one is the second from the left in this pic.

unpainted is what I use. after a few casts the paint chips off anyways with all these rocks.
