Just FYI ... most people use the term "spincast" to describe a closed-face reel. "Spinning" is generally used to describe an open-face reel.

no i am not giving up my baitcasters either , but i tried throwing 1/32 oz jigs with my upgraded pixy's and it did not go well or far enough for my liking..so i bought an aldebaran with an extra ultralight rod , still i was not satisfied using them for very light lures.....therefore the ultralight spincast reels and rods.....the bait casters i will use for bass and the spincasters for panfish , which i have never really fished for before... the ultralight spin cast fishing is new to me and has become my favorite type of fishing...instead of going up and down the river hunting bass , i just hunt my slew for big blue-gill or crappie..the ultralights make it just as fun....
