The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Abner had access to a private lake and to try some ice fishing. He had a week off so for 5 hours a day, 5 days straight he went. Never got so much as a bite. On 6th day he decided to go to public lake and noticed other fishermen doing something he hadn’t tried. They were actually cutting a hole in the ice.

A hillbilly meets an old friend who is now a game warden, and after some catchin up the hillbilly invites the warden to go to his favorite fishin spot, with the guarantee of a full livewell, even in the middle of summer.

Doubtful of the guarantee, his old buddy agrees to meet him at the lake the next day.

Early the next morning, the two launch the hillbillys boat, and motor to the promised honey hole. The hillbilly drops the anchor, and opens up his tackle box, and pulls out a few sticks of dynamite. The warden freaks out, and goes into a several minute speech of how that is illegal, and details the fines, and jail time of such an offense, and goes on and on for quite some time.

The warden looks at his old friend and says "well, what do you have to say about all that ?"

The hillbilly reaches in his pocket, pulls out a match, and lights the fuse on a stick of dynamite, and tosses it to his warden friend, and says "are you gonna fish, or keep talkin all day ?"

It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Got a few of these in today’s mail, and must say how impressed I am with them. Being an avid UL fisherman, I’m always looking for the right size lures. More often than not I find the right size, right color, right hooks size and so on, but it’s like tying a brick on the end of the rod. The weight is just too much. These spoons are right on so many levels. You will be hearing more about them when I get a chance to work them out, and there is no doubt in my mind that there will be good fish in that post. I’m excited at the thought of vertical jigging with these and the thumps they will generate. More soon, I promise......Skeet.
