Sometimes it just don’t pay off

To live in a small town.

I am building a swing mount for my iPhone for the boat. I use stuff I have accumulated when I can, but sometimes I have to stuff.

Well, I needed a metric screw, so I went to the local hardware store. I was greeted wit the “can I help you” . I responded with “I need a M5 20 millimeter”. He responded with “sorry we don’t sell guns here”.

I knew I was out of luck.

The bar is a 5 inch 2020 T rail. I made the end pieces from abs scrap piece.
I drill tapped the center of both ends of the t rail so to screw on the end cap and t rail swivel end.

I am still in need of some 5M 20mm.
