I am an early riser as well and when it comes to fishing I want my boat on the water by 5:50. haha, that is my goal each day. Let me rephrase that, I want my boat on the water about 25 minutes before sunrise. Yesterday was a prime example, I got out there, started rolling out of the marina. There was no wind, the lake was like a big sheet of glass. Not far away I found some fish itting the surface. Stopped and started casting for them. They soon went away without catching one, but I looked over and there was the most beautiful sunrise. That is the best time of the fishing experience for me, catching fish is second. I normally fish until about noon to 1 then clean fish and am home to do either work for my non-profit or around the house. First it is way too hot here in Texas with no wind to stay on that lake all day. I have done it, but I also go fishing 2-4 times a week, so I cannot stay out that long and stay married! haha. I am not the most patient either. I love to fish but I hate throwing something in the water and getting nothing, but I end up doing it anyway.
