I just use 1/8 lead heads and 2" yum twisters most of the time, for open water season.
I see hook size and jig weight variety isn't just my obsession. I'm very particular when it comes to lure design and size when it comes to hook size which is why I haven't used 1/8 oz much less 1/4 oz jigs for crappie. May just have too to convince myself local fish will still bite that size jig.

1/8 and 1/16. One or the other always seems to work.
