bucket, lid, sponges, attractant bamboo, rocks. holes in bucket lid for bamboo. other stuff in bucket and lid screwed on. attractant will ooze out for a long time. clean easy to deploy.

So much of the stuff you read on the internet is so misleading and usually total crap. I don't know of anything in a crappie's natural habitat that would produce or offer such a substance into their environment, so I sure don't know about cane syrup on bamboo crappie structure drawing the crappie... but I will bet you'll draw in a bunch of yellow jackets during the curing process and I'm pretty sure and would also bet they would eat it up faster than it would absorb into the bamboo. Let us know how it goes if you decide to try it. Like Blackhawk said: The only stupid question is one not asked.

Obviously you've never been around my boy that will ask why someone did something on TV, or if there were really things in the woolly swamp that'd make a grown man die from fright. Something's just can't be answered. Not by me anyways
