i actually leave the lids off mine in the garage for days at a time, just to make them hard. that way they stay on the hook longer. They are a little harder to get on hook but last a lot longer before dissolving.

One of my fishing partners starts his day laying 15-20 pcs on the boat deck to let them harden.

I added a little squirt of a liquid crappie scent on a jar that was too hard for the hook the night before I went fishing. The next day they were rehydrated much like new, plus with added scent.

Rehydrate them as mentioned but if they get too soft use in an injector for fishing tubes.

Get a fresh jar, pour half of them on something. Put the hard ones in the jar with the half left and they will absorb moisture from the new ones. put the other half back into the empty jar. Been doing this for ten years. Always works. Always.

I bought five cases of them five years ago long as you keep the lid tight in the air cannot get to them they will last forever why suggestion is throw the old ones away and buy a new jar

Don't hardly ever use them, but I'll guarantee you that if you'll put your thumb over the end to press them through, the hook will go straight through the nibble with ease straight into your thumb. Works every time. Lol

I put water in the jar let soak about a minute, drained the water out then dumped them on a napkin making sure all where separated. The next day they where all back like new. Now all I need is this DANG weather to straighten out
