I ordered a Vexus 1980 and should pick it up next week. Very excited.

Got to tour the factory, visit with the company president (Forest Wood' Grandson) and a few others that run the company.... All I can say is I felt very comfortable going with the Vexus. Loved the way it handled and was really impressed by those building them.

Should be able to give a better report in a couple of weeks.

No experience with nitro at all.

    Have you driven them both?

I was in BPS in Memphis a year or so ago and they were advertising that you could finance one of 21’ Nitros for 30 years. You’re exactly right, I’m sure there’s people doing it everyday (none of that is directed at anyone on the board that has decided to finance a boat out a long time, just speaking for myself).

My father and I both have owned Lowe boats and have nothing negative to say. The performance in all water conditions was excellent. I am actually getting ready to order a new one. With that said, it is like automobiles everyone has an opinion and favorite.

Picked up the Vexus today. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Fit and finish is excellent.

This is what my boat shopping research has taught me. Upfront you are going to pay more for a glass boat. But honestly any comparable metal boat is only going to cost about 4500 less than glass.
Now you blue book both boats 5 years old and the metal boat will loose half its value. So metal boats are WAY over priced new. The glass boat will hold its value way better. At 5 years old the glass boat will still have 80% of its value.

I concur with the above, sweet rig and looks like fun times ahead. I will add one thing though, remember everyone needs to wear a PFD when under power of the big motor. Yourself included, for the kiddos it's 100% of the time. New Boat Opinions Vexus or Nitro Z19
