Anyone eat crappie eggs?

I too will have to take a HARD PASS on eating any type of fish eggs... but have known many who seem to eat and like 'em. I know many who won't eat any kind of liver or gizzards, saying, "I don't eat any kind of filter."
To each his own I reckon. In the south there are lots of people who like cracklins and chitlins too... but for me they are just a little too deep in the digestive tract for me.

Hard pass on the chitlins but cracklins aint guts. They be the crispys from renderin lard.

We batter and fry them right along with our fillets and have for decades. We always try not buy bust the eggs sacs. If i tossed them out, my dad might disown me...

Yes!, I love the eggs but after hearing about the mercury and other contamanits I’ll pass from now on. They are tasty though!
