    Precisely what I have for my Lowrance sonar. Clamps easily to the side of the boat (I prefer the transom mount myself - they offer both styles, same type of bracket). Have used it for many seasons now. Works great.

    I used marine jb weld and glued a polypropylene block onto my the transom. Then screwed the transducer into the plastic.

    Check out Fish Finder Mounts .com. They have a magnetic mount that may be just what you are looking for.
