If you are used to a foot pedel with instant control, the Ultrex is your guy.
This is me, if I wanted a foot pedal and iilot I would go ahead and spend the money and get a 24 volt 80 lb ultrex. It has the attached foot pedal with electric assist which makes it really easy to operate plus it comes with the remote where you can steer like Terrova and use spotlock and ipilot. Think in long run you would be a lot happier.

I got the 45" model 24V 80lb Terrova for my Alweld mod-v 1756 Marsh. Plenty long enough, just right IMO, but any boat that sits taller in the water might should get longer. I still have about a foot above the deck adjustment when the motor is 12" under. It doesn't come out of the water when I get waked, but I wouldn't want it any shallower.
