Building custom rods.

Very nice looking rod. How long have you been building rods? What blank did you use for this one?

thanks. it was hard to find a 1 peace 7 ft rod that i like so i guess like with anything else you want it build it. i used it for the first time this morning and its a good balance of flex to back bone and made fighting the crappie fun. i havnt built a rode in a while so it was fun, and made me wish i could build some more.

Bushido has a sj7'2"/4-8 lb UL 1-piece that I use on crappie builds. You can cut 2" off the back and be fine. I have one on the bench now that I am building for a guy. They have a nice light tip, but more backbone than the average UL. What blank did you end up going with?
