I fish 1/100 up to 1/32 on some drinking water clear waters, 1/16-1/8 on everything else . Might be time to try 1/4 oz. on the clear stuff . Will have little to no confidence but want know till I try . I use (fluorocarbon) p-line O all jigging rods . 4lb.-8 lb. test .Which rod would you suggest ?

I would go with the 10-7 pro series for an all around rod

I like all the Huckabee Rods I have used . Started out with meat draggers . I use mostly the slightly longer pro series and pulling poles now. Only difference between the two is the number and size of the eyes . I pair them up with bait casting reels because they hold plenty of line , great drags and no line twist . Nothing like swinging em in not worrying about a net . Some guys use braid but I just rig with 8lb clear green Stren .
The 1/4 oz insert head with 1/0 hook Timmy Tom rigged with 2.5 '' Southerm Pro Little Hustler in glow colors work good in dingy or extremely deep . I been catching most my fish this winter 25 to 30' deep . But normally fish 8 to 10' water with purple/chartreuse 2'' tubes on 1/8 . Tip on insert tube heads is to smooth off lead if needed and use a drop of Slab Sauce to make loading tube on heads easier . The scent will stay on longer too .
