Tennessee ain't bad. Here in Ky we get too cold for my liking at times, but I do love winter fishing here. If I ever move it'll be south alabam! Love surf fishing and the salt life and some good crappie down there too!

Sounds crazy but I enjoy a brisk winter day. I can't do hot, either. 75 is OK but over that and I start to melt.

I would much rather do warm than cold. Growing up, dad was a Marine and we spent a lot of time living in the South West, High and low deserts. When he retired where did we live, high desert in Calif. Now I will tell you this, that desert does get cold, and back then, (in the 1970's), about every three years or so it would snow)...please give me heat in my older age please...

I like the warmth and all too, but after about month 3 of our 8 month long summer, I'm ready for some colder weather too.

Yep sometimes. Due to my better half work, I am now in S.W. Missouri. All four seasons of the year for sure, and lots of places to fish. All depends on how much you want to drive...

Same here. 4 seasons, 51,000 miles of rivers and over 11,000 lakes. Plenty of places to drown a worm.

I do enjoy my fishing trips south though.

I like my four seasons here in Pa. Fall is my favorite but I love the ice season we have too. Only lasts six weeks on average but I enjoy it greatly. In the spring I head for KY lake for a while to relax and do some early open water fishin. Summer is big water fishin on Lake Erie for walleye and perch. That’s why I won’t leave the great northeast for the hot south.

I guess you could say the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence...till you cross and in your opinion, your standing not in grass but a field of onions....

I love ice fishing with a passion, problem is,we don’t always have good ice.Our fishing in Wv is in my opinion, some of the worst fishing in the country. Our water is limited compared to many other states, and management is horrible.I guess if I had to relocate to a better place for fishing,I would migrate south in search of better crappie fishing.
That said,I hate hot humid weather,so perhaps Minnesota would better fit my desires, lots of water, better ice= better fishing,at least that’s how I visualize it.
