They are fine, I have 8ea and love them. They are a great deal.
Anyone have an opinion on these rods? Been looking around for some 14’ rods and came across these. Looking for something to fit a tight budget but not waste money if there not worth it. Thanks in advance.

I have a set of 14’s there a little bit flimsy in my opinion for spider rigging with a 1/2 oz weight because of the fiberglass construction but work fine for long lining if your looking for spider rigging rods I’d stick with graphite
I should have put that in there. I am looking at them for spider rigging

Ozark signature series is an incredible rod for spider rigging and on sale now at grizzly jig
I held some at a local store & found them to be a bit on the flimsy side, as well. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but the Slab Shakers are IM6 graphite ... not fiberglass. I think you're thinking about the Slab Daddy rods (14' 2pc fiberglass)
With Slab Shakers at around the $40 price range ... I'd seriously consider checking out the Southern Crappie Rods scr143 (3pc 14' Kevlar rods) at $47 ea.
Here's a pic straight from the Southern Crappie Rod website, showing their 14' (scr143) rod's bend with 1/2oz weight :

I use 12 footers with 3/4 oz wt on a lot of days and they do have some bend. They were on sale and i could afford to buy 8 to give spider rigging a shot.
I dont know that i will upgrade anytime soon as they work just fine. Lift fish in boat no problem.

I had 6 of them and was not impressed so I got rid of them.As stated earlier they are to flimsy and whippy for my liking. i went to the Jenko Cypress and have been very pleased I could not ask for a better rod.
