I'm not an advocate, Crappie Nibbles for me, but I knew you would offer good insights, and you did. Thanks

i have used about anything you can think of. I just purchased and started using the slab sauce and will not go back. I still will use nibble's when they are biting minnows. The sauce is the ticket.

Like all fishing lures made... scents or attractant sprays catch the fisherman's $$$$$ first.

I've tried spray scents on bluegill many times. They do help attract a fish to the scent, but a few drops of scent is washed off by a billion gallons of water real fast.

I'd have to spray the lure with attractant about every couple of casts... therefore, needing to go buy more expensive scents.

Now, I just use a cheap lure.

Had a guy tell me that he puts 40 on his jigs when fishing. Tried his best to make me believe him.

Bluegill, you might want to do a search on crappie dot com about all the tests and trials that have been done with slab sauce. Then, do a YouTube search, then a google search. After that, I'll point you to a few published articles about it.

In other words, you don't know what you are missing. There is even an article that shows that the scent still is putting a slick in the water even after more than 30 casts.
