Here is the best that I have found.

Men's Sun Hats - Neck Cape | Sunday Afternoons

    semi-floppy brim
    neck flap
    chin strap

I have attached a small clip to the chin strap, which I attach to the neck of my shirt. Just in case I "forget" to tighten it up and have it fly off my head

Sadly enough what I read on skin cancers says most of the damage that will cause problems later in life is done way before we realize the value of covering our skin.
    Somewhere under 30 I think I read .
But to be sure it is a good thing to get less of it if possible ... I know reflection plays a huge role in it as mentioned before
....I like big brimmed hats myself with draw strings ....and polarized glasses ...

A couple hundred years ago, my family originally came here from Wales, so fair skin & reddish hair runs in my family. The underside of my forearm is so light, it almost looks like a road map with all the veins and tendons that show. I don't ever really get much of a sun tan, just varying shades of pink to orange, so I've been wearing long sleeved shirts with wide brimmed hats when I fish for a time now. I find the fingerless gloves really helps keep the sun off the backs of my hands and they add some palm protection when paddling my kayak around. Those gloves are not fun to get hooks out of, but rather the glove than my hand. If you see me on the water, wave, or stop me to say hey.

Thanks for all the replies. The problem with most hats is, when you've got a melon the size of mine, most hats just won't fit.

    I wear a 7 7/8 - 8

    Those aren't easy to find.

You guys have talked me into a buff. I think I'll get one that has a skeleton face on it, so I'll look real friendly to the lake lice. I'll have to cut a hole in it so I can spit. I ain't man enough to swallow Copenhagen....

Hmmm, wonder which is worse, sun or Copenhagen? I'm lucky to have never been a tobacco user.

I wear a wide brimmed hat with chin strap, and usually full wrap around sun glasses. Sometimes I forget the sun glasses and wear my regular glasses, they are transitions and get dark as sun glasses. Now that I have Rosacea I grew a full beard.

In the winter, I still wear a wide brimmed hat. Except its made from wool.

Visit at the dermatologist went fairly well. She froze 4 or 5 spots on my face, fairly heavy on each cheek. Blisters are already forming. I was glad nothing had to be cut out this time. It's been a long time since I have not had to have something froze. I need to do a better job of wearing sunscreen and a good hat. Be safe folks.
