Here is the best pic i got off of camera phone.
I caught a 15 and half inch crappie that was very fat but i didnt have a scale so i let it go now im wondering how much it might have weighed.
I would guess 1.75 lbs or thereabouts. Nice one for sure!
I second a pound and a three-quarters or close to 2 pounds.
anything from 2lbs to 3lbs ... there's just no accurate way of telling.
(and just so you understand the misconception that a "weight calculator" can cause .... the calculators I tried, using 15.5" length, says the fish weighed 3.1lbs  ---- then you take into account, some of the fish that Jerry Blake has measured/weighed, that were 16" long ... and his estimate is around 2lbs)
I'd definitely put the 15.5" fish at over 2lbs ... especially if it was a roe laden female. Don't know as I'd go as far as saying it could have weighed 3lbs, though.
...... cp
