    We were at Camp Shelby and another company, thankfully not us, dropped a 155mm on another company. I don't think anyone was hurt, but I bet it really got their attention. A 155mm round make a heck of a bang.

    1965 South China Sea My job on the Carrier CVA-31 was loading Bombs on Planes -- Kind of loud on the Flight Deck too

    I was in VP-9....was stationed at Cam Ranh....aircraft too big to tail hook. Did two tours there one in 68 and one in 71.
