T handle outside on my 2014 Alumacraft. Now my old boats were inside deals.
outie for over 70 years of boating no problems. If u plan on removing the plug to drain fishing water do so with boat going slow-just before planing speed so nose is up in air and water will run out of boat. If u are worried about dropping plug tie a loop knot of heavy fishing line so loop is on stem of t handle between the "T" and the big end of the rubber plug. or use a fairly thin piece of wire tied same place so its out of your way & will not twist. sure I forgot the plug once and had to pull boat back out very quickly. That one time always flashes back in my old brain when ever I put boat in water.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....
