Similar thing happened on the Ouachita River a couple of years ago, but the boat was cutting the inside of a sharp curve. Think that was a bass tournament, too.

Folks please be aware of your surroundings and "ALWAYS ASSUME" that there "IS" another boat coming around the next point, corner or whatever and that "YOU" may have to be the one to take evasive action to avoid a collision.

Swing wide and yes look for the inexperienced, drunk, high or just plain ole stupid boat operator especially in blind corners....
