    Default Matzuo out of business???

I heard that Matzuo has gone out of business. I preferred their sickle hooks over the Eagle Claw Lil' nasty.
Any of you jig makers know if its true about matzuo? To me the Eagle claw sickle hooks run a tad smaller per size.

Had heard they filed for bankruptcy but not that they had closed their doors. Used their hooks, have not used the EC sickles so I cannot comment. Not a jig maker but have ordered from a board guy and he shared this some time back.

Just have to wait and see how it pans out. Several vendors are peddling "the sky is falling, buy my inventory now!" but that may or may not be the case.

Very hard to source a lot of sizes. Some have a bunch, some have zero.

Currently in bankruptcy and owe millions to 40 some odd creditors. They had a distribution company that distributed other products for many big named companies. Products were not making it to the stores.

Problems stem back to the new facility they built and the excessive amount of money they put in to it.

Many jig companies are already sourcing hooks from other companies. Voodoo is one that we looked at but I am not sure they can keep up with demand. For now, eagle claw pretty much owns the market. There are a few others but the prices are very high and, unless they come down considerably, jig prices would go up a couole 100 percent if their hooks were used.
