Goggles or cheaper but I wear sun glasses all the time even going out of the morning unless it's still kinda dark
For cold weather fishing trips, does anyone wear a motorcycle helmet or goggles when heading out across the water? Which one works best for the least amount of investment since I only make 3-5 cold weather trips a year?
looking for the cheapest investment that is the most effective.
Thanks guys.

I use a Save Phace mask. It's like a paintball mask without the vent holes at the mouth. Thick foam seals around your eyes. Works wonders on those early morning winter runs. Not cheap though. I would look for a motorcycle helmet at a pawn shop or flee market maybe. I rarely use my mask but to me it's paid for itself already.

I wore a full face helmet for years. Best thimg for cold and rain. Pick them up cheap 2nd hand.
Full face helmet will work better.
We use full face helmets, just don't fasten the chin strap in case you were thrown out you can get it off quickly.

Full face helmet is best in cold weather. Pawn shop, goodwill, second had stores. Really great in rain and the only time I had to run in sleet it was a life saver. Goggles work good for milder weather.

Full face helmet is the best. Save phace foam will rot out fast and sure ain’t worth the money.
